Through photography, film and writing I try to capture the ethereal qualities of everyday community life in Britain.

Stone Faces
...went rock climbing (or more accurately clambered over a bunch of rocks) at this place called harrison rocks in east sussex.... harrison's rocks is a sandstone crag found in birchenden woods... it's quite a magical place, lots of gloomy stone faces and darks holes and ancient trees... it almost felt like being inside a tragic fairy tale... like the neverending story...

A Rainy Night/ A Sunny Day, Oxford
....two oxfords....
separated by many years, by many days & by many nights

Iflley Village & Beyond
I went to visit a friend in Oxford the other day. We wondered along the thames to the quaint and pretty Iffley Village passing through the colourful and multicultural Cowley road, passing by world food shops and grafetti murals, it felt a bit like Stokes Croft in Bristol.... didn't take many photos...

...another day, another train journey, another beautiful place, another lone wander...

Grow Heathrow
I visited Grow Heathrow a few days ago, it was incredible! This cool girl named Ru showed me around. She was my age and had quit her job about a year ago to live in the occupied green space with other squatters in protest of the proposed third runway at the airport. The space was really colourful and inventive, filled with makeshift living and communal spaces, a shower, a pedal powered washing machine, a cabin, a wind turbine and more! Quite tempted to drop everything and pitch up a tent at Grow Heathrow! Seems like the perfect time for it. Photos below----
