Brompton Oratory

...I wandered into the Brompton Oratory... quite surreal, I must have been around nine or ten the last I visited....I was with my brother then, I remember I lit a candle and said a prayer... I did neither this time around, but the oratory... it looked just as awe-inspiring as it did when I was a kid.... comforting to know some places in London never seem change...

The View from St Augustine's Tower, Hackney

St Augustine's Tower

I often pass St Augustine's Tower on my way to work and have always wondered what it was like inside... after some research I found out that it is open for a few hours on the last Sunday of the month....so I went today to pay a visit and was not disappointed!.... a beautiful ancient building, with narrow winding stairs, an air of mystique, parred down brick walls, strange contraptions and sweeping views of Hackney and beyond....

Andaz Hotel, Masonic Temple

...this handsome hotelier named ruin showed me around this incredibly beautiful but very creepy secret temple... the temple was discovered behind a wall during a restoration not so many years ago....
