Wistful in Windsor

...a strange trip, unplanned of course, we wandered through the cobbled roads, and around the grounds of Eton, we walked up the long walk towards the castle, autumn leaves everywhere, and in the evening we followed the river thames. It got dark and started to rain and two people walked by, a man and a woman, and the man started talking to us and the heavy rain started to fall, and the sky began to darken...

...so he invited us into his houseboat to show us two books, and it was a cosy house boat and he made us tea, and we talked until the sky faded black an there are no more words left to say... <silence>

Parkland Walk (South)

So I wandered down the narrow path, following the course of the old railway line- and it was strange and fascinating, a victorian spirit, a tap on the shoulder from a walker- a friend, she said, I thought to myself, I know this girl. I was looking at the seahorses on silver and so we wandered by the arches for a while, and then I got distracted so she left and after I while of staring at colour, I walked the line, between the two platforms, with overgrown moss and amongst autumn leaves and puddles and the overcast sky and ten thousand colours. Just another (un)usual saturday
